DIY Fake Turquoise Polymer Clay Jewelry Tutorial. I’ve never made fake turquoise, but I’ve made fake jade, amber, and ivory (hundreds of layers of translucent and white then cut so it looks like ridges). Really good tutorial giving you the “recipe” of what colors you’ll need for turquoise. Tutorial from Craft Berry Bush here.*Bracelet in photo is the real deal, ring is polymer clay - but hasn’t been polished yet (and you can do this with an electric buffer, varnish for polymer clay, or with various grades of sand paper).
Brad just proposed……. That we move in together! Since things are looking like we’re more than likely moving to va together it makes sense to live together this summer.
Changes are happening!

Interview today. I’m actually really confident. I think the principal is pretty interested in me. It doesn’t hurt that my aunt is their celebrated music teacher. Its who you know, right?
I have everything prepared, I already had my pre-screening tuesday and I pissed it great…. I’m just praying that I get this job. Applying my as of and getting nowhere was really running me down.
I’m currently in northern virginia visiting my ain’t with my bf. We came down here as a vacation but also to get him acquainted with the virginia area, check out d.c. a bit, and I conveniently have a screening for Prince William County schools tomorrow. The screening is basically for the dozen art teacher openings all over the county and then the people who interview me set me up for interviews with principals at schools they think ink fit in with. I already have an interview for one if the schools on friday! I have a good feeling about all of this. And brad is looking to move with me/we move in together.
This whole trip has been amazing for us. We’ve successfully navigated through new areas and overcome obstacles and had a blast! This week could be a glimpse into what mt future could be in the next few months.
